What are your hours?

Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, from 6am to 6pm. On weekends and holidays we operate on an adjusted schedule. However, we are available 7 days a week – all year round for emergencies.

What do you charge?

For our animal removal services, we’ll provide a free phone estimate for most animals. If we have to come out to your home to assess your wildlife problem, we will charge an inspection fee. You can minimize costs by checking our traps yourself (but do not touch them – it’s against the law) and letting us know, instead of us having to come to your location to check each day.

It’s important to note that our rates might increase outside our normal business hours, on weekends or holidays.

For damage repairs and exclusion, we have experts who can help restore your peace of mind and keep animals out. We’ll provide you with an itemized quote beforehand so you can decide whether or not to move ahead.

We accept checks, cash and all major credit cards.

What type of guarantee do you provide?

We always promise to do our best to resolve your situation – the first time around! And for most cases, if your problem re-occurs within 30 days from the date of service, we’ll happily reset the job at no additional cost. However, please note that standard trip charges will still apply.

For our bat services, we normally offer a full 2-year warranty. The full terms of our guarantees and warranties are provided on the contract you sign for our services.

Where do you service?

We mainly operate in Central and Eastern Virginia, particularly the Richmond and Charlottesville areas. We also service the counties of Chesterfield, Goochland, Fluvanna, Louisa, Harrisonburg, Henrico, Hanover, Orange, Powhatan, Amelia and Albemarle; as well as Charlottesville and Richmond, and the towns of Mineral, Gordonsville, Earlysville, and Keswick.

If you don’t see your area listed, simply contact us to see if we can help in your area. Also, please note that we provide bat removal services across all of Virginia, including Roanoke, Salem, Lynchburg, Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.

Are you a government agency?

No, we’re a privately owned company and charge for our services. We are not an animal rescue or rehabilitation organization, and do not handle domestic animals like dogs and cats.

To be clear, there was a time when the state and county provided this type of service free of charge. But as a result of the complexity, cost, and skills required to efficiently resolve nuisance wildlife issues, the government no longer provide this service and have left it to experts like us to assist you.

Are you qualified?

We’re actually over-qualified for the state of Virginia!

We’re fully licensed and hold a Commercial Nuisance Animal Removal Permit issued by the Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries. We are also Bat Standards Compliant Certified (NWCOA); and belong to the National Trappers Association (NTA) and Fur Takers of America (FTA).

Are you insured?

Yes, we are covered by a commercial general liability insurance, workers’ compensation insurance and can provide a certificate upon request.

What about domestic animal removal?

We don’t provide services for the removal of domestic animals like dogs and cats. These services are normally provided by the Animal Control Division of your local police department or sheriff’s office.

Do you exterminate insects and pests?

We are a dual licensed company and handle both wildlife pest and insect pests, excluding bed bugs and termites. We also treat and control bat bugs, mice and rats.

Are any chemicals or pesticides used?

No, we only undertake the safest and most humane wildlife removal methods available. We use non-chemical species-specific baits and lures to do our best to capture the intended target animals. For pest control, we do occasionally use pesticides, but strive to only use those that are generally safe for the environment.

What if the animal isn’t trapped?

If necessary, we will re-set our traps inside your contracted service period at no additional cost.

What happens after you trap the animal?

Because our permit only allows us to relocate squirrels, we transport the animal and have it humanely euthanized as approved by the American Veterinary Medical Association.
